Emma Fairley is an award-winning Production Designer whose bold visual storytelling and meticulous attention to detail have made her a  distinct voice in contemporary film and television design.

Her acclaimed work includes the visually arresting Lords of Chaos and The Anniversary Party, both of which earned multiple industry honors and established her as a designer capable of fusing emotional nuance with striking cinematic worlds. Recognized by the Art Directors Guild for three consecutive years for Outstanding Achievement in Production Design, Fairley continues to work hard to define the visual language of narrative storytelling.

Most recently, she served as Production Designer on Mrs. Davis, the genre-bending series created by Damon Lindelofand Tara Hernandez, starring Betty Gilpin. The show—an audacious exploration of faith, technology, and the dangers of artificial intelligence—challenged Fairley to design a world that seamlessly traversed biblical allegory and meta-futuristic realities, earning widespread acclaim for its conceptual depth and visual invention.

Her work on the Netflix limited series Clark, starring Bill Skarsgård, showcased her extraordinary versatility and command of historical detail. Spanning seven decades of Swedish history, the show chronicled the life of the infamous bank robber whose exploits coined the term Stockholm Syndrome. Fairley’s layered, period-accurate production design brought each era vividly to life, underscoring her reputation for precision and narrative insight.
